It is probably helpful to remember that the Daily Beast is basing this story on a single anonymous source in the October before an election, unconfirmed but happily repeated by the mainstream media. This is not the Daily Beast's first rodeo at such scurrilous tabloid journalism. What the left doesn't realize is that "October surprises" don't work they they used to (see Gore v. Bush, drunk driving accusation, just prior to the 2000 election, when Ron Klain, now Biden's CoS, was Gore's campaign manager). Without confirmation, I accept Walker's repeated disavowals and denials of the accusations. We are naturally immune from these shiny objects.

As usual, you are spot on. I myself used to be “pro-choice.” NOT pro-abortion, in that, for me, it was a last resort, and a decision not to be taken lightly, and it was certainly not to be used as a form of birth control. But I’ve changed over the years. Most real adults do. We are called to forgive sinners, especially those who are truly repentant. I hope and pray that, if this story is true, Herschel has matured and sees the error of his ways.
